Donzília Rosa was born in Figueiró dos Vinhos, a picturesque town in the district of Leiria. She lived and worked in Portugal, Switzerland and the United States, where she gained valuable experience as an intern on Capitol Hill in Sacramento with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
