The Portuguese Venice

Aveiro is a coastal city that won the title of Portuguese Venice, due to the canals that cut the city.

The ride on the moliceiros boats is today one of the main attractions of Aveiro, however the city has places that by their intrinsic beauty, impose themselves as landmarks of mandatory reference and visit.
